“intuition,” “a prompting,” “God’s will.” Quakers like to say “a still small voice” or the “inner light.”
Artists are moved by “the muse.”
I say all these names and experiences of guidance point in the same direction, to an invisible world out of which this material world arises. If we are receiving “guidance,” by whatever name, we are attending, in our own fuzzy way, as best we can, to nudges from that invisible world.
